“Mr. NICE”
I spent most of my life involved in the spirits’ industry; first as a bartender in Osaka (where the nickname was born) and London, then as a bar consultant across all continents, as well as a marketing manager for a portfolio of international brands in the Middle East and India.
I recently moved to Germany, in search of a quieter life and develop further my passion for photography.
Bar-Face is born of an amalgamation of these two skills.
Today, I continue my consultancy activities with a select few clients as well as advise young spirit brands looking to develop. I hold the W.S.E.T. Spirit, level 2(Distinction), and I am a seasoned spirit taster: Spirits Selection in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 and ISW in 2019, 2020. I am also part of the organizing committee of the Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles with a strong point on Chinese Baijiu, which I champion globally.
My Ethics
With my photography, every image is captured with a “straight from camera” attitude and every cocktail photographed is ready to drink. There are no food additives, colourings and fake ingredient used to artificially enhance the images.
Real images equal better images!
Insofar as my mixology is concerned, brands need equity delivery vehicles that are suitable for everyone! Why use twenty words when two will be just as effective?
This philosophy is reflected in all my creations.
